Encyklopedia ON-LINE Wikipedia jest nadal blokowana w Chinach tylko kilka dni po tym jak została dozwolona przez cenzorów kraju.
Jej angielska wersja została spowrotem włączona w ubiegłym miesiącu, natomiast chińska wersja stała się dostępna pod koniec zeszłego tygodnia. Według skarg doniesionych dla Prison Planet przez obywateli Chin encyklopedia jest nadal blokowana w kilku częściach kraju.
Dotychczas nie wiadomo czy jest to spowodowane problemami technicznymi czy odgórnym zakazem władz kraju.
Wiadomo jednak, że cenzorzy często używają pretekstu "problemy techniczne" by kamuflować cenzurę.
